We have successfully refreshed, extended and upgraded this distinctive grade 2* listed commercial property that forms part of the portfolio of The Worshipful Company of Drapers, achieving long-term value for the livery company through 10% space gain, near double increase in rental value per square foot and modernisation works that bring this historic building up to date, meeting the functional needs of a 21st century office. 

 

Once initial designs were approved, a complex planning and listed building consent process followed.  Critical design elements had to be reviewed in detail as the refurbishment progressed and interior exploration unveiled a wealth of previously hidden period features that required restoration including; an original cantilevered stair, parquet floors, stone window lintels, glazed-brick archways and a metal lift cage which had been encased in plaster for decades.
